Funding Innovative Research
The medical cures of tomorrow require not only support by the government, but they can also be greatly furthered by your personal help. The scientists, ethicists, and educators working at CRTD rely on the generosity of people like you. Through the support of individuals, families, foundations, and corporations who share our belief in the promise of stem cell and regeneration research, the CRTD is moving closer toward its goal of targeting and correcting the cells lost or damaged by disease. Type 1 diabetes, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, vision loss, spinal cord injury, and cancer all have the potential to be treated and cured by stem cell therapy.
Researchers at the CRTD have the potential to turn this vision into reality. In addition to CRTDs focus on academic excellence and leadership in the sciences, the center has unparalleled access world-class clinical partners and a thriving biotechnology community. This combination of basic science and clinical expertise make the CRTD a unique initiative in the field.

The “Friends and Patrons of the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden e.V.” (Freunde und Förderer des Centers for Regenerative Therapies Dresden e.V.), based in Dresden, is founded to advance diverse aspects in research, cooperation, and communication in the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD).
